Cosmopolitan Magazine Published in Vietnam

Cosmopolitan, the world-leading magazine for young women, first launched in Vietnam on March 15 with the April 2010 issue. According to the a press release by the Cosmo parent Hearst Magazines International (HMI), Cosmopolitan Vietnam will initially be distributed in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Being published in partnership with Vietnamese publisher Sun Flower Media, supported by the Hanoi Media Association, the magazine targets 20 to 35-year-old working urban females.
While its overall theme and spirit will mirror the American flagship, with editorial topics including relationships, fashion, beauty, health and career, the Vietnamese version will include local content unique to the Vietnamese lifestyle.
HMI President and CEO Duncan Edwards said they are pleased to be bringing Cosmopolitan to women in Vietnam and believe that it will resonate with Vietnamese readers.
The 180-page magazine will be sold in Vietnam at VND29,800.
