Cardiff Was Not Disrupted By Tomlin And Zohore

The Welsh team had never begun a campaign with three league wins in their 118-year history but that strange statistic was consigned to history as Sean Morrison and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing put the shine on a performance that indicates Cardiff may be plausible marketing contenders this season.
They had the air of a group high and the Blades defence was unlocked by Lee Tomlin, restored to the beginning line-up . Tomlin tricked his way and, once the ball was played back off Morrison to him, he rolled it wide. Cardiff may have secured the direct their strategy play deserved after 33 minutes when Junior Hoilett put Kenneth Zohore through on goal. Chances are generally taken by the striker but he advised his effort of Jamal Blackman post. However, the home side were not to be refused and Morrison met Joe Ralls' corner a minute before the pause with a thumping header. The rhythm of Cardiff was not disrupted by the interval from adding a second before Tomlin and Zohore stopped.

Zohore delivered another effort just wide but Cardiff had breathing space after 55 minutes. Bruno Manga found the winger and Mendez-Laing dragged the ball back on to his foot to provide a shot. Diogo Jota Rúben Neves and Nouha Dicko scored the goals to make it three wins out of three for the side of Nuno Espirito Santo. Hull suffered their first defeat of the season Michael Dawson, despite their captain, heading them level in the first half and David Meyler a penalty late into injury time. Because they won promotion into the Premier League Mick McCarthy's side have made their very best start.
Jed Wallace fired Millwall forward inside 44 seconds but Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn changed the game around for Ipswich before Aiden O’Brien equalized for the hosts. Waghorn added his second until Tom Elliott levelled with 10 minutes left for Spence in the free-kick in the 88th minute of David McGoldrick. agen sbobet terpercaya

Britt Assombalonga started the job of repaying his cost with the initial goals of his Middlesbrough livelihood in a 2-0 win over 10-man Burton Albion. Assombalonga set about ingratiating himself with goals in the 60th and 23rd minutes into the Riverside fans and arrived from Nottingham Forest. A poor night for Nigel Clough's side was coalesced with 12 minutes remaining when the replacement Hope Akpan was sent to get a two-footed lunge on Lewis Baker.
After Daryl Murphy had cancelled out Matty Pearson opener Ryan Hedges netted his third goal of the campaign with a winner.
In the night's other games Birmingham City against Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United against Fulham both finished 0-0 while Bobby Reid stole a last-minute equaliser for Bristol City in a 2-2 draw at Brentford. Derby County beat Preston North End 1-0 thanks to Reading and a Matej Vydra penalty made it in a row for Aston Villa.
