The first Vietnamese girl crowned Miss International Beauty

The 22-year old Vietnamese beauty Vu Hoang Diep was crowned at the final round of the Miss International Beauty held in China on August 1. This is the first time Vietnam won the highest prize at the international pageant.
Before being crowned on the final night, Diep has already earned herself 2 notable secondary titles: Miss Talent (by doing a traditional VietNamese hat dance wearing an Ao Dai) and second runner up for Miss Bikini (not to be confused with the actual Miss Bikini pageant where Huynh Thanh Tuyen will be participating in). But these 2 titles can’t even hold a candle to her biggest accomplishment yet. On August 1st in Daqing, China, it was announced that our VietNamese representative, Vu Thi Hoang Diep, has won the final crown, gaining her the ultimate title of Miss International Beauty 2009.

Diep is 1.74m tall with three measurements 84-60-90. She once was runner-up at the Miss Sea Pageant 2007.
