Sonam Kapoor was born on 9th June,1985 in Mumbai Maharashtra. She started her career with movie Saawariya alongside newcomer Ranbir Kapoor. Before acting in the movie, Sonam worked as assistant in movie ‘Black’ 2005 of Sanjaylila Bhansali. After her firecracker performance in Delhi 6 she is coming in Karan Johar moivie with Imran Khan ‘I hate luv story’ and ‘Come on Pappu’ of David Dhawan.

She is not only a good actress but Sonam has taken training in Indian Classical dance (Khathak) and Latin forms. Sonam’s basic interest is in direction and writing and she loves dancing. Sonam love to watch Satyajit Ray’s film special Pather Panchali(1955).
