CELEBRITY Big Brother star Pete Burns has won £450,000 damages from the plastic surgeon who “ruined his life”.
Pete, 49 – singer with 1980s band Dead Or Alive -victim of failed plastic surgery, suffered horrific swelling and blisters after Harley Street surgeon Maurizio Viel gave him lip implants.

He said the treatment left him looking like he had been “mutilated with a Stanley knife”.
He could not eat normally, had to drink through a straw and did not leave his house for months.
Eventually Pete – who was on CBB in 2006 – had more than 100 operations in Italy in a bid to correct the damage.
He said: “It has taken away my life and my career. I saw doctors in London who said the only option was to cut off my lips. I was suicidal.”
Pete claimed his career was left in tatters when it should have been at its peak, and said he lost his home as a result.
His lawyers said he would continue to need treatment.
He agreed the out-of-court settlement after Dr Viel, of the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery, admitted negligence in ignoring instructions from the implant manufacturers and giving the singer too many injections.
