Talat Model Management producers of Miss Iraq, Miss Teen Iraq, Mister Iraq and Iraq’s Super Model of the Year contests chose Thalia Amer Al Jawhar to compete at this year’s Miss Earth pageant.

The 22 year old Baghdad born beauty is currently living in New Zealand. She speaks four languages including Italian and Spanish… and she’s been to Asia, Australia and the Middle East. The beauty queen from Baghdad will be Iraq’s second grand slam beauty pageant candidate, since Wijdan Burham El-Deen Sulyman’s Miss Universe participation in 1972. Earlier this year Thalia competed at Miss World New Zealand contest which was held in Auckland.
