It is official, at last. The Vietnamese Government has issued a document allowing Khanh Hoa to host the 10th edition of Miss Earth in Vinapearl. The document, numbered 5280/VPCP-KGVX, was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan on August 2nd.

On July 24, the Executive Vice President of the Carousel Productions Inc, Lorraine E. Schuck, worked with the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee on the possibility of organisation the final stage of Miss Earth 2010 in the province.
With the approval of the Vietnamese Government, 90 beauty queens from around the globe will arrive in Vietnam on November 4. They will be divided into three groups to join in charitable and environmental protection programmes in three provinces and then travel back to Nha Trang on November 20 to carry on similar activities. The final round of Miss Earth is scheduled to take place at the Vinpearl Land Resort and Spa on Hon Tre island.
Le Xuan Than, Deputy Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, vowed that Khanh Hoa will provide its best facility for the contest.
