Vietnam will be the host country of the 10th edition of Miss Earth pageant
Carousel Company, the organizer of the Miss Earth pageant, on January 28 2010 signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnamese sponsors to hold the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in Vietnam this November.
The announcement came midst a ceremony at Legend Saigon Hotel in HCM City. In attendance were Ramon Monzon, Chair of Carousel, and Lorraine Schuck, Carousel’s Executive Manager, plus Vietnamese organizers, including Nguyen Cong Khe, Chairman of the Thanh Nien Media JS Company, Nguyen Quang Thong, editor-in-chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper and Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of Vincom Group.
Miss Earth 2010 Pegeant to be held in Vietnam
Earlier, there has been circulating rumors that ME Org is courting the “Lion City” to host the 10th edition of Miss Earth which happened to be the 10th year anniversary of Miss Earth. Singapore has a very good relationship with ME Org. Alexandra Braun and Hil Hernandez visited Singapore during their reign to co-host UNEP’s Champions of the Earth.
Other potential host countries are Brazil (a bid could happen since Larrisa won the contest) and China (I believe there is a massive support for Ms.Earth in China).
However, Vietnam won the race to become the host country of Miss Earth 2010 Pageant
I, along with my 4 other friends here in the US are planning to watch the tenth anniversary of Miss Earth. Vietnam is a an awesome venue. We are looking forward to travel in Vietnam to watch the Miss Earth 2010.

wow! this is another milestone for our very own Miss Earth pageant! Vietnam is just a few hours from Manila so we might fly there to witness the 10th anniversary celebration of the pageant! I just hope the Miss World dispute will also be resolved so that everybody’s happy.

your post is very nice but you have some information wrong i am a miss earth finalist and have been told that this year the grand final crowning ceremony will be held on saturday 11th spetember 2010 at blackpool pleasure beech in england.
