Miss Beach Beauty Final is the most important of all fast-track events in Miss World 2009. The event is taking place on Wednesday, November 25th at the Zimbali Resort in Kwa Zulu Natal. The judges had reduced the initial group of 112 contestants to just 44; then a top 20 was announced. After the first competition, the girls were reduced to a Top 12, and then the final 5.
Huong Giang, the representative from Vietnam, enters the 12 Beach Beauty Finalists. This is a encouraging sign for Huong Giang since it opens the door to the Final Night a little more for her. In the last year Miss World Contest, 12 Beach Beauty Finalists are chosen to compete in the Final Night.

Miss Gibraltar, Kaiane Aldorino is the the winner of the Beach Beauty Fast-track competition held in Zimbali, November 25th. Aldorino is now fast-tracked into the semi finals. It is the very first time that Gibraltar places in the finals of the Miss World contest.

The 1st runner-up was Miss Panama, Nadege Herrera; while the 2nd runner-up was Miss Scotland, Katharine Brown.

Misses France and Bolivia completed the Top 5 finalists.

The First Lady of South Africa travelled to Durban specially to attend the show.
